Manchester United agrees deal to sign Juventus Midfielder

Adrien Rabiot could be the next Manchester United summer signing.

The Red Devil’s have reportedly agreed deal to sign Adrien Rabiot from Juventus as they look for further signings to bolster their workforce this summer and  are now working to agree personal terms with Rabiot and his agent Veronique Rabiot who is also his mother.

United lost their first Premier League game of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon with Pascal Gross bagging abrace for the Seagulls.

Erik ten Hag’s side showed they still need quality players to be added in and the board is working accordingly.

The Athletic reported earlier this Monday that Man United are “working on’ Adrien Rabiot as Frenkie de Jong is reluctant to leave Barcelona.

Multiple reports as at Monday suggest that Man United are”working on’ Adrein Rabiot as Frenkie De Jong is reluctant to leave Barcelona and  the Old Trafford based-outfit have now agreed a deal with Juventus to sign with the 26-year old.

Rabiot who joined Juventus in 2019 from PSG is entering the final 12 months of his contract and the Italian club want to sell him this summer.

The midfielder, who has scored 31 goals during his career, has made more than 30 Serie A appearances in each of the past two campaigns, and it looks as if a move to Old Trafford is on the cards.

According to report, ‘Manchester United, we’re told, have agreed a deal with Juventus to sign Adrien Rabiot’, adding that personal terms still need to be finalised. Erik ten Hag’s tenure as United manager began in the worst possible way with a 2-1 defeat at home to Brighton on Sunday, with owner Avram Glazer making a rare Old Trafford appearance to watch the game live.

United struggled throughout, and with midfield reinforcements seemingly required, it does appear to have a sense of a panic buy from Old Trafford officials, who are struggling to get a deal over the line for priority target Frenkie de Jong.Rabiot comes with a reputation for off-field difficulties, which doesn’t appear to be what United need given the reports of dressing room unrest in recent months.

Hopefully the Frenchman will prove to be a shrewd signing who significantly improves Ten Hag’s options in the middle of the park, but only time will tell.
