Cristiano Ronaldo: The Media Is Misleading, Truth Will Soon Be Revealed

Manchester United Playmaker, Cristiano Ronaldo has condemned the media space on what he’s tagged as  “lies” meddled about him.

The Portuguese forward has been reported to be unsettled at the Manchester club and his future subjected to transfer speculations.

The 37-year old missed the pre-season tour and returned to training later than everyone else alongside his agent, Jorge Mendes, for showdown talks with the club.

According to multiple reports, Ronaldo made his desire to leave Manchester United known after United’s failure to qualify for the Champions League last season.

Ronaldo commented on a post made by his friend and journalist Edu Aguirre’s official Instagram account : “They know the truth when they interview in a couple weeks. The media is telling lies. I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 news I made, only 5 were right. Imagine how it is. Stick with that tip.”

Aguirre claims a lot of stories have been cooked up against the Portuguese forward, linking him with different clubs and talks.

He’s made it clear that of the 100 news that was invented only 5 of such is accurate and really news worthy: and in a few days the forward will be coming out to grant interviews to put light to the rumours and keep his fans abreast of the present situation.

He stated that the transfer window is still much open till the 31st of September and that anything can happen with the move of Ronaldo from Manchester United.

“cr7.o_lendario Edu Aguirre (journalist and personal friend of Cristiano) said that Atlético de Madrid who went after CR7, that Simeone had interest in Cristiano, but that he can’t or doesn’t want to say it publicly because of the reaction of the fans, but that the Atletico has no condition to bank Cristiano’s salary and the possibility of this transfer is very low. In addition, Cristiano has offers from 5-6 clubs and this news of him offering himself to half Europe is a lie, absurd. Cristiano is angry and disappointed with the attitude of the press towards him in the last 2 months. I, Lucas, always said here that I hate speculation and that I would not comment on anything that was coming out in the media, because I know it’s a lot of lies. When put things here, such “O” and some information, it’s because there’s something, but at no time did I create stories or feed that kind of cheap and dirty speculation that the press does, I will never do that. Then they complain they can’t get an exclusive interview with him or anything. They try to tarnish the image of the guy, win at all costs on his name, and then go with their butts between their legs as if they were super fans and wanting an exclusive, pure falsehood and dirt. I maintain my position here and I really want Cristiano to leave Manchester because the current scenario in this team is very bad for him, but if he stays, I will cheer fervently to make everything go well as always. Until the 31st, the fans will be for him to go to a better team and that can happen, let’s wait.”

The Playmaker was in action for Manchester United last week, as they fell woefully to their host, Brentford, by 4-0. It was the first time the 2012/2013 Premier League winners are losing their first two premier league games for the first time in 30years.
